This page gives a list of the cats we have in our care.  All cats in this Branch are given an MOT (Mog OK Test) as follows:

The cat is taken to Southill Vets for an initial examination, which will include blood testing for FeLV/FIV, flea/worm treatment, any dental work and, if necessary, neutering.  In addition, the cat will be microchipped and be given its 1st vaccination against Flu, Enteritis and FeLV.  If the cat remains in the Branch's care for 3 weeks following the 1st vaccination, it will be returned to the Vet for its 2nd vaccination.

These checks ensure that animals are as healthy as possible when they are re-homed.

The page is divided in three sections, Fostered Cats, Kittens and Cats Living Rough.  To view these please use the scrollbars or select a topic from the menu below:

If you are interested in any of the cats listed on this page, please contact us.

Kittens (less than 6 months old)

We have a number of kittens at present, but this may change very quickly.  Please contact us on the Branch's Answerphone on 01747 840621 or email us.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT A KITTEN, LIKE ANY OTHER PET ANIMAL, IS FOR LIFE.  IT IS NOT JUST A SHORT-TERM PRESENT BECAUSE IT LOOKS CUTE AND CUDDLY.

Please note the Branch does not home young kittens with families who have children under the age of 6 years old.  We have found young children and kittens are not a good mix, and have had kittens returned because a child has got scratched or suddenly develops an allergy.  In addition, cases have arisen where a kitten has been cuddled too enthusiastically and has died of internal injuries.

Cats Living Rough

Because the Branch has limited space, stray cats known to us sometimes have to live rough until a home can found for them.  In those cases, we are assisted by local residents who are willing to feed them and provide them with shelter until the cats can be homed.  We are very grateful to those people who help us in this manner.

Currently, we do not have any cats being cared for by local residents.
